iKMC Film 7 – Introduction to an M-NICU

WHO has recommended that hospitals should be reorganised so that mothers and preterm babies can be in one unit – the Mother-Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or M-NICU. This film shows what the ideal M-NICU might looks like in low- and middle-income country settings. It was filmed at one of the iKMC Study sites in Nigeria. It is an aspiration that would require long-term planning and resource allocation.
