NEST360 training films
These films, made for NEST360 (Newborn Essential Solutions and Technologies), demonstrate set-up, use and maintenance for a range of equipment models. They are used as aids in clinical and technical training.

Pulse oximeter
The pulse oximeter measures a baby’s blood oxygen saturation. It is an essential tool for diagnosing and monitoring breathing problems soon after birth.

Oxygen concentrator
This is the workhorse of emergency rooms, delivering concentrated oxygen to patients. In neonatal intensive care units it is used to support babies who need help to breathe.

Flow splitter
One oxygen concentrator can provide oxygen for many babies. The flow splitter shares this oxygen up to six ways, allowing accurate control of flow rates for each baby.

Pumani bubble CPAP
CPAP machines provide a mix of air and oxygen to help premature babies to breathe. The Pumani is a low-cost, easy-to-maintain machine used across Africa.

Suction pump
If a baby gets a blocked nose then it won’t be able to breathe well. The suction pump helps clear the airway, and is a standard in a neonatal intensive care unit.

Radiant warmer
The best way of keeping a premature baby’s body temperature constant is by skin-to-skin with its mother. But when this is not possible, the radiant warmer is a substitute.
