Chiedza’s Song: Growing up with HIV in Zimbabwe (full version)

This full version of Chiedza’s Song tells the story of a young woman beating the odds as she grows up with HIV in Zimbabwe. But it also a love story designed to spark discussion and challenge stereotypes which affect HIV positive adolescents. In particular it looks at the issues of starting relationships. This version includes excerpts from lively discussions held with audiences in community halls in Harare about relationships between HIV+ and HIV- couples, getting children tested and the impact of faith healers.

Narration is in English. Dialogue is in Shona with English subtitles.
