The story of INSPIRE: Retaining women on treatment for an HIV free generation (20 mins)

This films covers all six of the INSPIRE studies. Together they form a jigsaw of evidence that solutions for retaining women in care need to be broad, addressing issues from clinic and health centre to family and community. While peer support by HIV+ mothers gave the best results, in practice the mentor and expert mothers carried out many of the interventions tested in the other studies. The film provides a good example of the use of Cluster Randomised Trials to provide evidence for benefits from community based interventions.
