Choezom’s Story is about a Tibetan nun, Choezom, who becomes sick with TB. She is told by her friend to see the Tibetan doctor, who then tells her all about TB and sends her to the hospital to get tested. As she recovers Choezom learns all she needs to know about the illness and becomes an Expert patient. This version is in Lhasan Tibetan. There is also a draft version in English.

This is an early version of Choezm’s Story in English. We changed quite a bit as it was translated and voiced up in Lhasan Tibetan. This includes the main character’s name which changed from Sumati to Choezom. This has been put on the website as a draft version only. We will be subtitling the Tibetan version in English as a better alternative.
