The CHAPAS clinical trials – Developing HIV baby pills

The story of a small Malawian boy, whose life has been changed by the introduction of baby pills to replace syrups and adult pills. The baby pills are far better adapted for use in an African village where there is no refrigeration. The pills were developed by CIPLA and tested in the CHAPAS trials. Studies also showed that mothers found the baby pills much easier to give to children.
