A village tale – a film about the project

This is a film about the film project to mobilize communities in Malawi against HIV. It shows how the performance was created by a group of residents from a small village, who are living with or affected by HIV. They act out their experiences to the whole community. It shows the follow-up with moonlight testing, and then workshops the following day to strengthen village health committees, designed to work with the local public health centre.

The project is a partnership between Picturing Health, Art & Global Health Center Africa, Dignitas International and the Malawi Ministry of Health.
